Tips on some Circuit Trainings

After a long session in the gym. My workout today is circuit training. I enjoy doing circuit trainings as it will give me the results I would want to achieve in a shorter period of time. My goals is to be lean & fit. I'm definitely not a marathon goer, but would love to try out Zombie Run. Last year, I went for Viper Challenge, an obstacle challenge/run. The whole event has a total of 20km and 20 obstacles. For someone like me that actually dislikes running, my motivation is the Obstacles. Love those obstacles. Find your motivation and get started!
Random photo taken. I'm in red on the left ;P
I made it!!! And still can play

Let's get back to topic! Here's my today's workout routine:

First Circuit : 6 Sets of 10 Repetitions
Clean & Press
Box Jumps
Windmill with Dumbbell
Burpees

This first round as above took me about 40 minutes. A simple and intensive workout, but I'm just loving the burn. Now lets start with the second part...look below :)

Second Circuit : 3 Sets of 10 Repetitions
Air Squats
Front Squats
Walking Lunges

The second circuit emphasize a lot on the legs and butt. For you ladies out there whom would like to have nice firm gluteus (butt); it's time for you to start doing some workout!

After all of this workout, I'm exhausted. It's time to drink a can of Malta and be En3rgIzed! After drinking a can of Malta, I personally felt energized and ready to face the world. Live and feel good. All this workout and with Malta, I feel good!

3. Start with your exercise routine by running just for one minute. Add another minute each day!

4. Improve your ability by talking while running or doing other workout. It regulates your breath, ensure that you’re not overexerting yourself, and keeps your mind off the pain you’re enduring.
By talking to your friend, you will push yourself harder to achieve the repetitions.
**Please be caution when attempting this workout routine. This is hanging upside down and do sit ups. Higher endurance but faster results.

5. Keep yourself hydrated. Water is your body’s principal chemical component and makes up about 60% of your body weight. It is always important to replace your bodily fluids. Drink 4-5 litres of water daily!

Mary Quant Beauty Workshop

Konnichi-wa! This is my very first time attending a beauty workshop or anything like this. I am so grateful that Manoah has given me this opportunity and looking forward to more.

Do you know that Mary Quant brand has been around since 1966? Well, I didn't know about it until I came to this workshop.
In 1966, Mary Quant begins designing cosmetics and releases Mary Quant Cosmetics.
It has been awarded an Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.), by Queen Elizabeth II for designing the miniskirt sensations. The Black Daisy is the symbol of Mary Quant.

Let's start with the workshop! It was held in Mandom Sdn Bhd in Uptown Damansara.

Before we start, remember to tie up your hair or to clip them up before you start applying the make up.

Starting with applying the Oil Zap & Moisture Zap. The Oil Zap is oil control make up base, mainly uses on the T-zone. It's to be used especially on the oily area. Moisture Zap is to prevent dry skin. It will help the make up to last longer. While applying the Moisture Zap, avoid the areas where you had applied the Oil Zap.

Then shall proceed to the Eye Gloss, the moisturizing eye foundation. This will help to make eye colours come out brightly. Now we are done with the make-up base!

What's next? Of course the foundation! Smoo Make is the powder foundation. There are eight (8) shades available, which are, Ivory, Fresh, Soft Pink, Beige, Natural, Country Clay, Tan, Bronze. This powder gently covers visible pores and dull skin colour, creating a radiant smooth skin.

Loose Face Powder is the finishing face powder. This Loose Face Powder has four(4) shades; which are; Sheer Satin, Light Lucent, Natural & Sheer Gold. This powder will make your skin appear brighter. The velvety corpuscular powder makes pores and fine lines less noticeable; and creates a softer looking skin. And best of all, it provides a long lasting beautiful finish.

Eye Opener, Powder Eye Shadow. Mary Quant Cosmetics has gorgeous amount of colours that would be able to use for any event. And I'm just loving the colours <3
Blush Baby, Powder Cheek Blush. Time to puff your cheeks with the Blush Baby.

Action Lashing, Lengthening Mascara. This mascara has a really unique design. Mary Quant's original two-sided Coil and Chip Brush mascara which features short raised bristles on one side. This has seven(7) colours. Isn't it beautiful? I'm in love with the colours :)

Brow Line, Eyebrow Pencil. Mary Quant has three(3) shades of Brow Line which are Charcoal Grey, Chestnut Brown & Camel Brown.

Out Line; Colour Pencil. This is a eye/lip colour pencil. It enables a greater freedom to play with the eye and lips area.

Lipstick; Moisture Rich Lipstick. In Malaysia, Mary Quant carries 20 shades. I love the ombre red as it makes my lips shine. And best of all, I personally would usually avoid red lipsticks, but this is just exceptional. Too lovely to resist!!

Colourshine for Lips; Lip gloss. The smooth texture that adds lustre and volume to your lips. It can prevent stringiness and stickiness when you talk & it can deliver a long-lasting beautiful finish.

And that's all folks! Lastly my selfie with Sensei Nobuko Takaki, the make up artist from Japan.
Thank you Mary Quant & Manoah for the lovely time in this workshop!
